Who I am
Consilea is run by Leah Burrows, a sole trader based in England at 5 Kinsale Walk[, ADD CITY & POSTCODE]. I'm the controller of the personal data described in this policy, and the easiest way to reach me about any of it is consileagift@gmail.com.
What data I collect
I collect personal data you give me directly, including:
- Name, email address and phone number (contact and enquiry forms)
- Details about gift recipients that you choose to share with me (names, preferences, dates, allergies)
- Delivery addresses and, where applicable, payment information (processed by my payment provider, who I never share your full card details with)
- Correspondence you send me
I also collect limited technical data automatically, such as approximate location, device and browser type, and how you use the site, but only for analytics purposes and only once you've given consent via my cookie banner. See my Cookie Policy for details.
How I use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you've asked for
- To fulfil orders and gifting memberships, including delivery
- To send service-related communications (order confirmations, delivery updates)
- To send marketing communications, but only if you've opted in, and you can withdraw that consent whenever you like
- To understand how the site is used, in order to improve it, where you've consented to analytics cookies
- To meet my legal and accounting obligations
Legal basis for processing
I rely on: performance of a contract (fulfilling an order or membership), consent (marketing communications, analytics and marketing cookies), and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, keeping the site secure). Where I rely on legitimate interests, I've considered that this doesn't override your rights and freedoms.
Who I share data with
I share data with trusted service providers who help me run the business: payment processors, delivery couriers, and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising platforms (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn). I never sell your personal data.
How long I keep data
I keep enquiry and order data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting requirements (typically 6 years for financial records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, in certain circumstances
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact me at consileagift@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
