CONSILEA

About Consilea

Considered.And Leah.

The name holds both — the practice of considered decision-making, and the person who started the studio because thoughtful gifting kept losing to everything else on the to-do list.

Why the name

A studio built around one decision, made well.

Consilea started from a simple observation: the people best at gifting weren't the busiest or the wealthiest — they were the ones who'd made a habit of paying attention. They noticed what someone mentioned in passing three months ago. They knew who'd recently changed jobs, or moved house, or lost someone.

Most people don't have the time to be that person for everyone in their life who deserves it. That's the gap Consilea sits in — not replacing the thought, but doing the legwork behind it, so the thought still lands.

We're not a marketplace and we're not a subscription-box factory. Every brief is read by a person, every shortlist is built by hand, and every box that leaves us has been checked by someone who could tell you why each piece is in it.

How we work

Four things that don't change, whatever the brief.

01

We ask before we choose

A good gift starts with a question, not a catalogue. We'd rather spend twenty minutes understanding someone than twenty seconds browsing for them.

02

Small enough to say no

If a brief doesn't suit what we do well, we'll tell you — and point you somewhere better. We're not trying to be everything to everyone.

03

The maker's name matters

Where we can, we tell you who made what you're giving, and why. Provenance is part of the gift, not a footnote.

04

Considered isn't the same as expensive

Budget shapes the brief, not the care that goes into it. A £60 gift and a £600 gift get the same attention to fit.

Work with the studio

If this sounds like how you'd want gifting handled, let's talk.
